Here are some FAQs...

The price?

$97.00

Is it self-paced?

Yes. It is a self-paced online course you can take in your own time.

Is it text or video based?

Both. It will require reading, watching, writing and imagining code.

Is it aimed at beginners or intermediates??

It will help both beginners and intermediates, whether you have been learning JavaScript for just a few weeks or it's been months / years and you are trying to relearn and consolidate your fundamentals.

If it is your very first time learning JavaScript, it is recommended you do another beginner-specific course alongside this one. The aim of Imagine JavaScript is to build a mental model, not necessarily teach concepts for the very first time. Please email me, DM on instagram or send me a message on Discord for some recommendations.

Does it require a lot of actual coding?

There is a lot of reading code, and answering questions inside an interactive code editor. I have also provided optional exercises along with solutions. It is up to you how much you code, but the aim of this course is to grow your understanding and retention of concepts, not to practice them in a range of projects. For this, my coaching program Break Through JavaScript - build without a tutorial in 40 days would be ideally suited. Please contact me for further details...

How long will it take me to complete the course?

Building a mental model cannot be achieved with a checklist. It is about time spent immersing yourself in each concept. However, as a very rough estimation it will take you 3-6 weeks. although some students have spent 1-2 months on it and achieved the best results.

  1. Aim for consistency. 1 hour a day is ideal.
  2. Do ALL the exercises and section projects, and post them here
  3. Focus on immersion, practice and consistency

Are the course videos very long?

I aim to keep every video under 10 minutes, and the majority are around 5 minutes in length.
